One dossier, three questions

Welcome to
Aster Apartment.

One renovation, six documents and a few decisions to make. See how the pieces of a dossier help you plan the next step.

An entirely fictional example, prepared from the six sources below. Reference date: October 8, 2026. This page shows reference results; it does not start an AI conversation.

Question 01

“How much room is left in my budget?”

The four accepted quotes total €17,500. Camille then approved a €450 change. The €800 flooring option remains a proposal.

Confirmed commitments€17,950
Below the €18,500 ceiling€550

Already paid: €1,920. That leaves €16,030 to pay on current commitments. The deposit is part of the cost, not an extra charge.

Confirmed commitments: €17,950 — €550 still available.
Question 02

“What does the latest email change?”

Completion moves from October 23 to November 6, provisionally. The October 7 email replaces the original plumbing, flooring and painting schedule.

  1. Expected tile delivery. The rest of the schedule depends on it.

  2. Oct. 21–23

Plumbing resumes and finishes. Electrical work keeps its October 8–13 dates.

  3. Oct. 26–28

    Flooring installation.

  4. Nov. 2–6

Painting. Provisional overall completion on November 6.

October 23 is now the plumbing finish, not the finish for the whole renovation. No extra charge is requested for this delay.

Question 03

“What still needs a decision?”

  • Flooring option · €800
Proposed, not approved. It would exceed the ceiling by €250.
  • Electrical inspection · October 12 at 10 am
Proposed by the electrician. Camille still needs to confirm.
  • Damp mark near the door
The cause is unknown. Ask for an inspection and written findings.
  • Moving the furniture
Nobody has agreed to take responsibility yet.

One decision is confirmed: keep the existing handles, with no extra purchase.
